I used to have a GTI like that but had about 150hp. I Loved the car, put about 50k trouble free miles before I sold it to my brother. Here is a pic.

+1, that vid has to be sped up bigtime; it looks almost like a Formula 1 onboard and all the other cars are flying as well.

Yea, the only cars that turn in that fast are formula 1 cars ;) What's the point of doing a video like that and just speeding it up? That's pretty dumb

Okay, so I HAVE to boost my car now. Plus, passing a Lambo, regardless of who is driving it, in an econo car is awesome. Even if said econo car cost 1/2 as much as the lambo with parts.

Was it me, or could the guy not pass anyone in the corners? Seems to me he passed everyone in the straights. Also it didn't look like the Lambo put up much of a fight anyway

that's not road racing then, that's drag racing...

The Gulf is an FF whereas the Lambo is an MR. It's going to turn in better because of that shift in weight, amoungst other things. think of how well an NSX does the same thing and it will make sence.
