ok now since I'm not big into stunting I gotta ask......does wearing a helmet make these stunts more difficult? I'm not flaming, this is a completely serious question. I understand that less speed for the most part means less danger, but if that was the case, bicyclists shouldn't have to wear helmets because they are only going like 15mph on their commute to work/school.

Does a helmet somehow hinder these stunts? Is the lack of a helmet just to escalate the "outlaw/badass" image?

No, helmets dont make anything difficult...But there is a comfortability factor that is there....Depending on your learned skill level and how you personally feel you can control your bike...

I wear a helmet and armor, just because I like how it looks in pics and you need to be able to show sponsors that you are responsible...but those guys have been riding for the past like 5 years almost everyday....

So Im pretty sure they can go out there and rock without going down..Half the time if someone goes down they just landon their feet and run off...So its all in the person...

Right. It isn't the horizontal speed per se. Helmets are mostly intended to protect your head from the 5' vertical drop to the asphalt when you are otherwise unlikely to do anything to prevent it.
