eveyone is pulling for the gixxer i dont understand y... in all the 600cc test its at least 3rd plus the 6r has more power than any other 600... i think theres alot of suzuki heads on this board but thanks for everyones opinion lol!

i was stuck on the same problem, same two bikes but i chose the gsxr and im glad i did.

in the last 600 comparo in sport rider the gixxer came in 3rd and the 636 in 2nd, but it was only by half a point. the cbr won but if you read all the riders' opinions, only one said the cbr was his favorite bike, the rest were all for the gixxer or the kawi. i think the cbr won just because it was the most changed from last years model. with that said my point is that maybe those comparo ratings arent all that accurate. i prefer to read each rider's opinion at the end of the testing because i think youd get better info, so check that out.

and again if you go with the kawi, get a damper

Get the Ninja. I did and I am so impressed with this bike I almost can't believe it.

My only comlaint, and this may be from coming off of a FZ6, this bike in stop-n-go traffic can be uncomfortable. The former FZ6 spoiled me I guess in this respect. The 6R riding position is much more aggressive with the bars lower and wider. The seat is great tho....no complaints about that. The 6R on the highway is great and forget it when you hit the twisties, track, or back roads. Smiles for miles.

Get the cheater. Those extra 36cc's are exactly what my need for speed needed and was easy on my wallet at the same time. Easily best bang for the buck bike (this year anyway).

I see absolutely no reason to get a damper with the Kawi's chassis unless you run track and in that case every bike should have a damper.
