I love my Suomy Bayliss replica. It's about time for a new one and I'm spolied because Suomy's are the only helmet that I've ever owned. This is a pic of me in full gear on the cool down lap at Jennings....
Wow you are one lucky gal... you don't have anything inexpensive. Dad ride too? I'd die of happiness if I could actually save up enough money for full gear and track days. More power to you girly, I mean no disrespect, I mean to say you got a nice hobby there
I think that my Dad would rather see me shot than show up at a trackday. He's not in to it. And he hates the fact that I ride. That's a borrowed bike. I live in Iowa and wasn't bringing my bike all of the way to FL. All the gear is mine. I don't have anyone footing my ride to the track. Working 80 hours a week to support a trackday habit is about as much fun as it sounds.
I'm sure that you don't mean any disrespect but I work hard for what I have. Save your money and scour on Ebay for good deals. That's what I did.

That's just awesome; way to go girl! I assume you're not in school b/c I can't imagine paying for all that between classes and paying tuition already. But I guess who needs school when you're working for what you love - keep it up hun I might be lookin for advice in the next year, and who better to ask than another young female.
You already have an awesome bike to do a trackday on. Check out www.nesba.com They are an awesome org that is very helpful and an awesome place to start out.
I finished High School two years early when I was 16 and went to school for Education for 2 years. I quit going because it wasn't really my deal and now I'm working alot and riding.

Where about in IA? I grew up in Clear Lake (little resort town off I35 about half way between Des Moines and Minneapolis). I'm happy to be in AZ now...well, about as happy as I can be right now w/recent temps around 115.
I'm from Eastern Iowa and now living in the Cedar Rapids area...I'm not super happy where I am but it works for now.
