Hey, it's hard to find good pictures of metal flake on sportbikes (where you can actually see the sparkle). If you own a custom painted metalflake bike- House of Kolor, PPG, etc., please post a good pic, or if you just have a pic from another website, please post it. Thanks

You are never going to see an accurate picture of metal flake. That kind of a paint really needs sunlight to reflect and show off what it is all about. A camera cant capture everything that is going on. You just wont be able to appreciate what it looks like until you take it outside into the sun.
Best pic of what my blue cobalt metallic paint looks like on my paint. This was before buffing and with a crap camera. If I can get a hold of my gf's camera this weekend, I will try and get a better pic.

Blue, purple pearl, flake and majenta tint over a silver flake base. You can sort of see the color shift from lavender daylight to deep candy red at night.
The entire bike was painted a blue, then flaked with HOK blue flakes, then cleared, then sanded and cleared again to completely bury the flakes. Then all THAT was sanded and the flames were put on over the top. Some of the pics were showing the pinstriping around the flames, which was prior to the last two sessions of clear which buried the flames, pinstriping and airbrush work. The flames were in a gorgeous green pearl which was a nice texture difference from the blue flake.
