I have good news........I just got bent over by switching to GEICO.

Man, I would never go with any of those type of companies. I like doing all my business like that locally.

I actually got a better quote from them then I did any other place on line. But I'm also old, no tickets (never get um when I get pulled over by a guy ) and now stuck with only a 599cc..... Hell, I pay $490 yr full coverage with a $250 deductable...

Best place to look feng, is at Dairyland. Try this.....http://www.insure-family.com/dlInsur...OVMTC=standard just enter your state and then just fill out the rest. I don't know if they do on line quotes, and if they don't, here' the # 1-800-3SENTRY or 1-800-373-6879

this may work also.... http://www.sentry.com/CP/ProductDeta...x?Product=CYCL again, just enter your state...

unfortunatly, dairyland quit writing for sportbikes. they will continue w/cruisers, but when i went to renew my existing policy on my R1 in September, they curtly informed me that b/c it was a sportbike, i was SOL.

i hear that state farm/farmers is the way to go if you have no accidents w/in 3 years.

You start out motorcycling with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

I pay about $500 a year for full coverage on a CBR1100XX with State Farm. Progressive and Geico wanted $7,000 a year when I first bought the bike (and yes I was over 25 at the time, and it was still that high!)

'02 F4i & '00 Buell Blast = $690/yr. Bikeline Insurance Program by Markel Insurance (www.bike-line.com). Found them at the IMS show in Chicago last year.

100/300/50(property), 25/50 uninsured, 50/100 underinsured, 250 deductibles.

I love these people! Great to work with, either on the phone or online!

I have no tickets on record, same with my wife (we've been lucky the last 3 yrs.).

Would definately recommend checking them out.
