...but it was only by a few miles per hour.

Has been a repost a few times... ultimately ppl have thought it was a photoshop... which begs the questions...

Where's the blood from the cyclist?
How come the from of the car is dented?
Why does the point of contact between car and bike look fuzzy, and why does the bike look intact?
How was a bike traveling at speeds like that perpendicular to a 2 lane road?

Seen this posted on here at least 10 times and there is no way that is a PChop. There is nothing in the picture that makes me think it is first (lighting, pixels, quality) and second how would the car that small get a dent in the side unless it was from a very narrow object at high speed. What did a wrecking ball miss the building and slam into the car and then someone but a bike in the space?

I'm sure it's real. It's just so horrific that people almost want to think it's chopped. Also...

If you can hold onto the bike with any direct impact...you are a better man than most. My guess is - the rider was ejected OVER the car probably several hundred feet.

Not sure what you are attempting to convey here. Maybe...'why is the front of the car dented?'. I only see the hood crumpled in the photo = shifting metal tends to relate its effects upon surround metal/objects.

Cant help you here. It sounds like your video card is inadequate, as I see no fuzziness.

Where did these assumptions come from (I didnt see the other theads, so I surmise there were more pics)? Based on this picture alone - the car could have been turning onto/off of the roadway, there may have been an intersection, etc...in-short, 'very easily'.

Im not saying everything you see is an 'original', but some of you guys/gals need to lay off of the immediate assumption that pics are Photocrops.

Oh jeez, this has been posted probably 15 times!!

And, I've even proven that its a PChop, you just have to look hard enough, im not going to post up my picture that will show you its a fake (too tired). My guess is that the car hit a telephone poll or something and wrapped around it, then when the Fire Dep. got it out of the way somebody snapped a pic and then somebody else threw a HORRIBLE looking job together in photoshop.

Fake!

I agree, the quality of the two pics differ. The sharpness on the car is greater than the sharpness on the bike. Its easy for any pro photoshopper to see. I know I don't have much of a reputation here, but most of you know I can shop. And I say that is a FAKE as well.

I wouldnt go so far as to say its a horrible chop, but it doesnt fool a trained eye for sure.

Good eye DarNinja.
