Just got back to checkup on this thread... I HATES Monster tanks. ARGH!! Lol. It's absolutely AMAZING how wavy those things are from the factory. I stripped one down to bare metal (like you seem to have done) and spent the next two days blowing the estimate I did on the peice by having to go over every square inch twice to get it straight again. Did I mention I HATES Monster tanks?!? lol.

That is the finished product minus the logos. Not really bare metal. Owner wanted something ole skool and different.

He was happy to say the least.

Average price is completely dependent upon what you're getting done. Some bikes can be done for $800, others run into the $10,000 to $15,000 range just for paint. How much do you want to spend. Lol.

I cand find a shop that does a good job on painting bikes. One shop called mom's cant get the desing straight on the bike. And I know nobody else. I live in the Lehigh Valley 45 minutes north east of Philly.
The good ones are awesome and I am willing to pay so my bike looks awesome. I dont think i will attempt painting on my own i have seen to many really screw it up. And never paint from a spray can you dont have the control over the flow it looks like shit. 'if you love your bike don't do it. Get the spray gun.
