Default Going to paint my back in the winter..

Hello everyone. Like the title says, i will be painting my bike coming this winter. I have already got a powder-coating guy who is going to do it for 30 bucks a wheel..But the painting i am going to do..My question is, are there any good books i should get or are there some killer web sites, that will give me all the advice i need, from what kind of sandpaper i should use, up to what kind of paint and sprayer i need?
Thanks alot guys, SBN is so helpful.
Nate

Just so you know, the title says you'll be painting your "back" this winter. Can't help you on the other questions, but good luck.

Make sure you remove any hair on your back before you paint.

gonna be kinda hard to paint your back yourself, and you may also need a flexible paint.

Prolly need a good flaxible want to reach the very center of your back

If I were you Nate I'd try to buddy up with a local small time painter and just ask if you can watch and learn...or better yet, ask if theres anything you can do to help with his jobs to see what goes into painting

That is....if you really wanna learn

My buddy here at the office has a brother that runs the paint shop at the local community college and painted my parts one saturday for just the cost of the paint. I got to watch the whole process and learned a great deal. Plus is only cost me $75 to have my WHOLE bike painted
