It is over at TFOG Wheelsports having an electrical glitch debugged. :
Hoping to get it fired up and ridable soon!!!! Then I can work on all the real details of making this bike something cool.
I got the seats back from Luimoto today. I have been VERY excited about this. Since the bike is not here I set them on the tail section to snap some quick pics to give everyone an update. (they will obviously fit better when actually locked onto the bike).
Seat colors are a near perfect match to the paint.
Bike had some electrical issues, followed by some compression issues......and hopefully will be back in my garage this week. (has been at the shop for almost 6 months Bill better be very favorable!!
He also said the frame got scratched up while fixing the valves.....so I am not sure what to think of this yet. Would be a near impossible frame to touch up with the custom gold powdercoat.......holding judgement, feeling a bit pissed, but have not seen it yet.

I can only assume that he scratched the front dog-leg of the frame (the peice that goes down to the front of the head) while trying to wiggle the valve cover out. It's a low-visibility area, even on the right side. That's really the only 'excuseable' area of the frame that could be scratched; as the valve cover is a really really difficult peice to get out without dropping the front motor mounts and lowering the front of the engine. If he scratched it anywhere else, I'd definitely be asking him to get it stripped and re-powdercoated.
Couple of quick pics before riding it to work today.
LOTS of work to still be done. I have to work on all the little details now that it is mostly complete and running. (so some of the stuff you see in the pictures will change)
looks good, but i'd pick up some bar end mirrors. those stock ones look goofy
