There is another brand called Sarachu. I had it on my 2005 ninja 500. Mine were carbon fiber which were much lighter than the stock cans. The sound was much differant also. It had a throaty sound like a v-twin. I'll try and post a picture. SPEEDBIKE RACING.

Pretty much any exhaust sounds surprisingly good on the 500's....I had a full Hindle 2-1 system on my old one and it sounded wicked, I was surprised how many heads it turned....probably because most people hadn't heard anything like it and didn't know what it was. Plus it was a left-side exit which is weird.

The Sarachu's are wicked pipes...I hear theyre very loud for slips though, which could be a good or a bad thing depending on your POV...

Cobra makes cheap slips for the bike, or at least they used to, not sure...but Id stay away cause last time I saw, just IMO, they looked really cheap.

Those look really good on that bike! Never heard of the name, though. How loud are they? Do they come with baffles that you can remove and put back in easily?

The Sarachu exhaust in my opinion isn't to loud. I've heard Harleys & sportbikes that are louder. There are no baffles. Click on the link in my previous reply to check them out. The carbon fiber is sold out, or at least was three days ago. They are more expensive than when I bought mine three years ago.
