Default adjust suspension to weight

I am a short rider (5'1") and leightweight (110, 120 with gear) and was just wondering how I would go adjusting my bike's (k6 gsxr-600) suspension to suit my weight. I have already lowered to suit my height but the suspension feels a little stiff. Thanks.

Being that light, your probably going to be changing springs.
Race tech has a spring rate calculator. Heres a link to a 120# street rider springs for an '06-'07 GSXR 600.

Depending on how much it's lowered you might not be able to go as light as the calculator recommends or risk bottoming out on bumps and losing available lean in corners. Just something to keep in mind.

Do you know what your settings are now, or are you just starting from scratch?

I was hoping that the stock equitment would allow for some adjustments. It shows that I am about 1kg off from the stock settings. The bike is only lowered 2 inches or however the 1st level of the Vortex links are.

Have you already set the sag for your bike? The spring rate calculator might help you, but setting it up for 25-30 mm compression front and rear when you get on the bike should have you pretty close to comfy. I don't think you should approach 20 mm sag unless you're doing a track day.

I can provide you some directions if needed.
