Default GSXR K6 exhaust suggestions

I'm a new bike rider and am looking into upgrading my stock pipe for an aftermarket pipe on my 06 GSXR-600 but I don't know what are my options. The reason being is to increase the sound so people know I'm nearby and could be aware of me....So I won't get sideswipped by accident. I've heard some clips but they all seem to sound the same. I'm looking for personal experience and opinions with aftermarket pipes for GSXRs. I prefer a low, barking tone if possible. Thanks.

Im in the same boat as you.

When I'm ready to buy one I 'm going to find a bike night in the area and look for some bikes like mine and ask to hear them run ( most people wont mind). This way I can find the sound I like.

Having a loud pipe won't guarantee that you still won't won't get sideswiped. Being aware of your surroundings, anticipating what cagers might do and being able to quickly take evasive action will do more for your survival than just loud pipes. I also don't understand the logic of getting an aftermarket pipe just for the noise. Just slapping on a pipe and not doing anything else to your bike will, more than likely, make it run like shit.

Welcome to SBN and you did take the MSF course, right?
