Corvette HUD mod

I bought a corvette just before i deployed and it has a neat feature i'd like in my bike.. there is an LED HUD on the top of the dash that reflects up into the windshield, so when you look at the road through the windshield, you can see the reflection of the speedometer. I think it would be pretty cool to have something like this on my bike so when i get down behind the windscreen, and im looking through it, i can see my speed without looking down..

Does anyone know a good place to look for something like this? Perhaps an already existing mod, or just someone who knows where to begin? I've spent a year and a half away from my bike and i want to do something new to it... Thanks!

I'm not sure if I've seen one that goes on the windscreen, but there is one that I've seen that mounts onto the visor of your helmet somehow. It projects the speed down into the upper left hand or right hand side of your visor. Seemed pretty cool when I saw that. Don't really know how it "worked" though. By that, I mean I don't know how it got the reading from the bike's speedo to the helmet's speedo.
