Default POLL: turn signals

Just curious, seems like most people replace their turn signals but some guys keep them stock. If you have stock signals I'm interested in hearing why you haven't replaced them. Thanks.

Pods in the front, integrated in the rear. The wobbly stock stalks were annoying...though much more visible!

stocks look awful. almost 180 degree visbility, while stock shine forward only. flush-mounts wont break off in a low-side.

I have an 1125R so fit in the poll half way. Fronts are LEDs integrated into the mirrors. Rears are LEDs on stalks. They have great visability and are actually DOT legal, no bulbs to replace, and look pretty good. I've been thinking about adding something for better side coverage but the stocks are actually pretty good.

another one of those here... the pods sticking out on the superhawk were quite unattractive.

With all the bitching about cagers cutting you off, turning in front of you, etc. why would you switch to signals that aren't as visible as stock (or integrated in the taillight)?

All it took was one of these asshats almost running me down while trying to make a left to convince me to keep the stock signals with brighter bulbs. I want these fuckers to see me.

the led stalks i put on the rear are really bright and kinda big but i left the flash rate fast so its even more noticeable...just like misspelling wet paint sign...and i have greggs up front and they are really bright too...

being cut off just means that you are riding too slow or you are riding in an area that you have no business riding...

yeah i know you have to follow rules...but i try to stay behind the fastest drivers

Right. And that car that almost ran you down probably only did it because you had certain types of signals on. I'm sure that's pretty accurate. I'm sure there's no chance that asshole driver would've almost run you down regardless of what type of turn signal you had installed.

Mine came with the aftermarkets on there but I just switched them to the amber LED's for better visability
