Default F4i, to PC3 or not..

Did a little searching around on the forum but got some conflicting advice, so thought I would ask for my specific situation. I currently have an F4i that I purchased used and already had a slip on two bros pipe, rest of the bike is bone stock. As far as I know the only way to tune a bike is through the PC3 and people do not actually burn chips for specific mufflers correct? I am not really looking for any performance gain from this mod, just longevity of the motor if this slip on is going to make things run lean. Worth while investment in my case or no?

There's always mixed decisions when it comes to exhaust mods. some people say yeah you need to remap / rejet your bike some say no. Final decision is to call the manufacturer or check out their website. If its NEEDED then do it. If you want better performance from your bike then i recommend it.

I was reading around on the two bro site and it makes no mention of adjusting the maping. I would assume that it would not require it but not sure. Longevity of the motor is more a priority than performance, I commute on this bike a lot and leaning it out just puts extra heat and stress on the motor that isn't really necessary IMO...

Then you're fine without the Power Commander. We get some pipes in from manufactures on the manual it says Power Commander is required.

I would only consider getting a PCIII if you get a lot of backfires/popping on deceleration or there are lean condition issues. Check the condition of the plugs - they will let you know if it's running lean.
