Default cheap helmet - mod

Does this seem overly unsafe? There is a button head bolt on the underneath pretty much flush with the inside of the outside skin of the helmet, which is about 1/4 inch thick. There is about 1 1/2 of "cushioning material". It's a big bell helmet.

depends on if theyd push in through the shell on an impact or if theyd just break off... either way, probably not too safe. cute though... like little horns...

Definitely doesn't look too safe. guess depends on the chances of you landing on that specific spot.

It makes the helmet unable to conform to any helmet standard from the US or Europe, including FMVSS218, Snell, ECE or BSI. So you decide...

calm down calm down.. I bought another helmet (definitely not drilling holes in).. DOT/Snell approved.. etc.. that is just me being silly.. and besides, I figure it would still beat not wearing one at all. I was just curious to the comments I'd get from you guys..
