To each his own. Personally, I'm not into flames or polished frames/wheels. The question is....do you like it? It is your bike.

Owned! Not a big fan of the paint, but it is your bike. If I were you, I would paint it some form of black; flat black like someone said earlier, is a great idea. I think flat black gives a good contrast on newer sportbikes. It's like old meets new.

If you have to ask, the cost to reapint is probably not worth it to you.
I like it, but I'm biased since my 636 has the red tribal flames.

paint it flames are ok in small doses i guess but thats a bit much, i perfer the cleaner look but its your bike, im guessing you bought it like that so at one point you decided you could live with it. either that or keep it like that untill something happens that you need to paint it, not trying to jinx you but shit happens you know

yeah its my brothers old bike. he had it since 99 and decided one winter that it would be a good idea to take on a paint project. He recently bought a new 1000 RR and I was sick of my TL 1000 that had more miles on it than I care to admit. So I bought it for a good price and really like the bike. I was always a big fan of the CBRs. I can live with it. It gets loads of compliments at bikenight and others that say flames= but normally they are like 16 just crawling out of there lowered civic and dressed like justin timberlake ...

I've seen much worse. I'd keep it until it gives you a reason to change or until your brother wants another painting project.
