this is a very opinionated topic. If you are very diligent get some popcorn as well there have been a lot of tire threads.

yep do a search. Depends on how you ride, how much you're willing to spend.
Cycle Gear is having a sale on Pirelli Diablo's this weekend though...good street tires. Wouldn't recommend them for track days though.

I use Diablo Corsa III's for track...I have 3500 miles on the rear with two track days. Why wouldn't you recommend them for the track?

pirelli diablo are some damn good tires for the street and track days and even the drag strip

i love my diablos. they grip so good. havent done a trackday yet so dont know about them there but when i do go thats what i'll be running and I'm not even gonna think twice about it. i have never had a problem with them

I liked the Diablos I had when they first came out. Good feel, sticky as hell and the rear lasted about 7000 miles...on my bike which I eat lesser tires in about 4000 usually.

If you commute or spend much time on the highway I recommend the Pilot Road 2ct, all the side grip of the Pilot Powers but from what I can tell FAR more durability, mine aren't squaring yet at 8,000 miles...and I eat rears.
