Default 2006 GSXR FI Light Issue

I have a 2006 GSXR 750 with a Jardine slip on exhaust.

After installing it, the FI light came on and the bike is now running in SAFE MODE

I was advised I need to pull-out one of the wires in the Harness under the seat to trick the computer into thinking the exhaust valving is still there.

Does anyone know which wire is supposed to be pulled? I have been advised its on the right side of the two plug-ins under the rider seat....some have advised its the 5th, or 6th or 8th from the far right and the top row.

Can anyone verify this? I called Jardine (to no avail) as well as the Supply house where I got the exhaust and no one there seems to know that this is a required step. Figures.

Thanks in advance!!

(No specific information here unfortunately)....but how is your exhaust valve actuated? Is the valve controlled directly via a mounted motor, or is it controlled with a cable system?

Reason I ask is my ZX6 has a remote exhaust valve motor, that runs cables over to the actual valve. Because the motor is separate, you can just remove the cables and leave the motor connected, so it still moves, just doesn't do anything. This keeps the FI light from going off, because it's not rigged for any sort of feedback, just as a simple motor.

So on the slim chance you have the same sort of setup.... I'm sure that wasnt much help, but figured I'd throw something out there anyways
