The 525 and 530 chains both have notes at the top of their descriptions that say they come in 120-link leangths only. The 520 is probably the same, but I would call or e-mail them first to be sure.

you sure you need a 520 chain?

Your bike comes stock with a 525 as far as i know... you'd have to change both sprockets to 520 to be able to use it. Unless it's already done.

Just checking.

that's a lot for a chain. if you are after it for the x ring seals check out a RK chain. you can also get them in silver instead of gold. For RK chains the GB stipulates a gold chain.
and they have a 20k mile warranty and a master link so you don't have to buy one. some chains don't come with a master link.RK GB520XSO X-RING 120 Link Chain - Read Reviews and Buy at KneeDraggers.com

I was thinking the same thing, so I checked RonAyers.com before I posted, and was surprised to see it shows the 636 with a 520 (at least for the 2005 I checked). Seems a little skimpy for a 600, but oh well.

R6Rupture, with a 520 chain and (I assume) aluminum rear sprocket on your bike, just be sure to do regular cleaning/lubing/tightening on your chain. Keep an eye out for premature wearing on the sprocket.

so one guy says he likes the did better and your all over it?

come on....

RK is a fine chain....vortex is a lower quality sprocket. ever hear the chain is only as strong as the weakest link?

the vortex sprockets are going to fail first. when sprockets get bad, they ruin the chain. so a badass chain does no good with (imo crappy) sprockets.

now the stealth is friggin' sweet (have one), but they're pricey. it would hold up much longer and allow the benefit of the did chain to work longer.

My system:
vortex 15T front steel
stealth tri-metal 49T rear
RK X-Ring 520 in gold

RK and DID are the probably the top 2 choices. I'd rather pay less for the same quality chain but that's just my "smart" side speaking.

you can't ride for shit anyway so what does it matter?
