New Mods???
I'm going to be doing some mods to my new RR soon and plan on installing frame sliders along with perhaps some new levers and rearsets. An undertail and flushmount blinkers are already installed. There is currently a Micron slip-on on the bike, however I'm not in love with the sound. I had a custom 2 Bros shorty pipe on my F4i that I loved and am considering getting another.
What other mods do you feel are "must do's" in your opinion.
Give me your opinions on sliders, levers and rearsets that you like and why...
thanks for your input!

i love my pazzo shorts adj. i got those and front and rear galfer lines. gotta get new fronts though. hands down , the best sounding(to me) slip-on i've heard on a cbr has got to be the two bros. +1 to the pad upgrade. sepecially if you are gonna grab a set of s.s lines. i hear that crg levers are just as good as the pazzos, and about 5-10 bux cheaper per set.
ever think about some racetech springs? gpr damper? just a few more thoughts.

here ya go.
powerstuntworks race rails. they have a little more meat to them than sliders
and they are approved for track use. they won't scrape before your knee does. the riders in the racers corner will have more info on them.

Sweet! That's something that I might very well be interested in. I'm planning on doing some track days this year and they might come in very handy. Not that I PLAN on going down, but just in case.... as I very well know from my highside last July. OUCH is all I can say to that!

ss brakelines, add a pc and get it remapped, you might also want to change the sprockets/gearing.

First things I did to mine were frame & swingarm sliders, a Yoshi full system, BMC filter and a PC.
The sprockets, chain, brake pads & lines and rearsets came later. I'd say rearsets are a must if you are tracking it; the only reason you'd need them on the street is for a) looks or b) those long rides in the mountains with nice twisties
Oh. And I put smoke turnsignal covers and a smoke Puig windscreen. Purely for looks

+1 on the powers race rails
+1 on the SS lines but you need to shop around. They are all about the same and some are MUCH cheaper than others. For pads get EBC HH's. You could get some wave rotors too if you have lotsa $$$
+1 for two bros, theie shorty pipes are awesome the 10 inchers look really freakin sweet on a side pipe bike but your is an undertail so that point is moot.
+1 on gearing.... -1, +2 gearing is a common street mod and if this is just a street bike I'd say go with that. Even on the track though I doubt you will top out 6th with just -1, +2. Geared Steel makes some stainless steel sprockets that will last forever or you could go with Vortex's which are soft aluminum and will not last at all. Aluminum is lighter than steel but that's only important on the track, like competitive racing, not track days. Other companies have steel sprockets but gearedsteel is the only one I know of with stainless steel sprockets.
Oh, and keep your eyes open for an 05-06 600RR front end. If you can score one for a reasonable price you can swap out so you'll have inverted forks and then sell your old ones for close to what you paid.
P.S. You fill out that jacket very well
