Default Trouble Getting Vinyl on Seat Tight...

Hey everyone.

I've got my new seat cover, and I'm having some trouble getting the vinyl on the seat tight.

Here's what I did.

I started out putting some spray adhesive on the seat foam, and layed the vinyl on there where I need it to be. This is important, because the vinyl is multicolored and sewn together, so it NEEDS to be centered.

After that, I started by pulling the sides right in the center tight. I worked my way around to the back of the seat, and everything looks great from the center to the back.

However, when I started working my way forward, I had a bitch of a time trying to get the vinyl straight.

I finally said it's just "good enough" but I'm not very happy with how it looks. I pulled as hard as I could and repulled over and over again, and couldn't get results that didn't look just "okay."

Short of sending it in to the company that I got the cover from, any suggestions on what I could try to get it tighter??

Thanks!!

leave it out in the sun for a while to let the vinyl heat up...then it should stretch more and maybe u can get the shape you want
