not paying 7bills for the hotbodies so im making my own.im gonna use fiberglass, i just used cardboard and masking tape to make a really rough mock up.what do you think?what should i change?i think it looks good eccept the exhasut is just sticking out.
looks good, what are you going to do for signals and how are you going to mount the plate?
^ thats what I was going to ask.
Custom fabricate some signal mounts in that untertail. Don't know where you plan on mounting the license plate tho...maybe on the side like the cruisers?
Otherwise...doing it right and making it look good will be a task. If you pull it off...major kudos
R6rupture you have really come a long ways from a few months/year ago havn't you?
I would include some kind of lip on the undertail, right under the exhaust. You could drill some holes and poke through some leds for signals. Could look pretty trick.
not too long ago i think someone was making a plate mount that used your pipe band...i remember cause i had a 1000RR and was looking at doing that...RIP's

sorry i'm gonna ask an obvious question to you all, but i'm a little confused. whats the difference between a fender eliminator and an undertail?
fender eliminator = replaces that big ugly ass fender that holds your license plate with a small contraption that moves your plate right next to your undertail
Undertail = the piece of plastic under your rear seat that gets dirt all over it from your tire. Most people will refer to an undertail as ONLY an afftermarket undertail...which usually looks better on your bike

Personally I would fab somethin out of sheetmetal which would be a hell of a lot easier to get a quality finish, also I'd make a lip around the pipe
Good luck and props for diy'in it
