Default What would be the best way to mount this?

the pipe.what do you think?I could drill 2 holes in my header put 2 rivets or sheet metal screws in and seal it with some type of extreme high sealant.what kind of sealant can withstand this????

or tell me what i should do, it just slips on and is a lousy fit kinda big in diametre.it was held on by two screws before, fell off the other day so i need a more secure way.

the RTV copper stuff is really high heat and stays pliable. The red crap that comes in a caulking tube is slightly higher heat resistance (made to seal fireplace bricks), but dries hard.
