Default 1st step towards new tranformation

Lately i have been thinking about changing my bikes appearance a little bit and going with more of the street fighter look. This is what it started out as.

Sorry about the quality my camera was messed up. Now this is how it stands now minus the intake tube and foam around the headlights.

There are a few obviuos things that i would like to take care of get new bar end mirrors and fabricate something for the headlights and gauges to bring them closer so they dont look like there floating. Now for anyone that has done this before in the pic below there are two bolts (on each side) that i am going to take off and this will allow me to take the back portion off. Will this affect anything structurally? Once the portion is taken off thats where i would be cutting my plastics to shorten up the rear.

If anyone has any photoshop experience and free time and they wouldnt mind doing it could you chop the rear section off of the picture below just to the right of the key hole to take the back seat off and the screw just above it or if you want to take one of the full sized one above it would be appreciated thanks.

sorry for such a long post.
