Default FMF Racing Powercore GP Exhaust

Anyone heard of this?

http://www.fmfracing.com/products/ca...CategoryID=424

Supposedly its 10.8lbs lighter than stock. Its kind of growing on me as it would lower the center of gravity...and its about $900 cheaper than a full Akra EVO system.

Thinking of getting one for my GSXR 750 and trying to fit it up to Akrapovic titanium headers.

I don't have that kind but rather a slip on. the quality of the pipe is great.
FMF is the leader of dirtbike exhausts. only natural step is to the street. where I'm sure they will continue the success and reputation. It may take a few years until enough people see them for the popularity to come up. they should sponsor racers to get the name out.
I think it was sportrider Mag that dyno tested a bunch of exhaust 101 of them I belive. on a 04 R6.
the FMF came in 2nd for power gain akra came in 3rd. and 4th or 3rd for weight savings. .10 behind akra. thats nothing.
my slipon and midpipe weighs 5lbs. micron was the pig in the test @ 10.5 lbs

Hmm. Yeah, ive never heard anything bad about their dirt bike stuff. What the shit. I might as well give it a shot and try fitting it to the akra headers. If nothing else, it will be a one of a kind. How does your slip on sound?

Thanks for the info. Oh, and I like the 'clean' look youve got going on. Cheers.

Nice choice! Thanks for posting up your pic! I just purchased one and awaiting for it to arrive next week. I have a couple of questions? Why is yours a bronzy color if it's titanium? The one on Jason Britton's bike is a titanium color. Maybe that picture you have up was from when it was just installed and brand new? Second is how do they sound? I currently have the Jardine GP1's and they sound like shiet! Too high pitched! I wanted a little more deeper, more aggressive tone! Hope these FMF's have the sound I'm looking for!
