Puig Windscreen install...

Has anyone installed a Puig Race Windscreen on a 05-06 GSXR 1000?
If so how did you make it work?
The windscreen is different than stock..
You have two holes where the mirrors go through..There is a opening in the middle so the wire for the turn signal wire can go through...The Puig screen there is just 3 holes on each side..So its like you have to run the turn signal wire through it..Where does the wire end or start?Or any help on install will help...

anyone ever paint a screen?how did it turn out, what type of paint did you use?im too cheap to buy a tinted one and heard if get it tinted it will "lift faster than your moms shirt when im around"

Haha. Yea i was thinking about painting mine too, hoping its not too -like. I'm guessing one of those krylon plastic based spray cans should do the trick too, but any feedback from other's experiences would help quite a bit.

Just now put mine on...Basically had it to the part of undoing the wires and take the mirrors out to slide the wire back through...Just didnt wanna go any further than that last night cause i was colding and hands didnt wanna work

I painted mine with kylron bbq paint when i painted my swingarm and covers. Ill post a pic of it in a sec ok.

Here it is. Just taped the edges and gave it about 5-7 coats of Krylon Flat Black BBQ paint. I dont know what it looks like on the bike because I have a Puig on there.




Thats not paint run on the backside its just dirt and a bad flash. The back is actually completely black and has a nice even finish on it.
