I am in the process....if you do it yourself, the banjo bolt is a little soft (mine broke at 11 pounds though the torque spec says tighten it to 12 pounds).

Why pay someone to tighten a bolt? I used the same torque wrench a mechanic would...and no, I did not strip the m/c

At almost $100 for the lines, I wanted to make sure I did it right and followed the directions to a T (might have been my first mistake now that I think about it )

Good point about it getting safety wired

The hardest part about the install is bleeding the brakes once you're done. If you know how to do that, you're fine.

If you've done it before maybe on a car and are confident in your skills when you need to haul ti down then do it...

Easy install. Bleeding the lines is a PITA.
