Question Pit-Eck brand exhausts. Anybody ever seen/heard/owned one of these?

My ZX-12R buddy wants a bolt-on muffler for his Twelver and I happened upon this on on Fleabay.

Seems affordable, but is it a POS? Never heard of this Mfgr before.

Their website is shite:
http://www.pit-eck.com/

The yellow logo sticky thing is hideous, but it looks easily removable before use.

It's not for me, it's for my buddy Craig who owns a ZX-12R.

I'm already WAY over the top with exhaust mods on my bike:

Anyhow, a fellow over on Sport-touring.net has ordered a pair for his TL1000 and is going to give me the low-down on them.

I don't know about his exhaust parts...but his rear hugger, fender eliminator and intergrated taillights are pure junk.
I wouldn't chance it.
As the old saying goes...you get what you pay for.

Oh MAN! Don't get me started on PIT-ECK. Lets just say there's still a dispute with AMEX Pending. I bought a Track Fairing kit from them and it doesn't even fit! When I try to squeeze it into place so I can line up the mounting points, the kit just starts cracking.( I'm not talking just cracking sounds, I mean literally cracking and chipping the primer) AND no, it's not my first time trying to fit a set of race fairings. Not only did it not fit, but the race set came with a street tail with light cutout.
When I tried contact him, he first responded and asked for pictures. I got him pictures and never heard back from him again.

Ya but I dunno slip on mufflers for all these sport bikes seem retardedly priced. 350-400 US for a chrome/polished muffler? I dunno just seems like a lot to me, coming from a car background. then again, things just seem expensive for bikes, far as i've seen.

^still seems ridiclious paying more than twice the cost of a polished stainless straight through 3" car muffler, for a polished stainless straight through 2.25" bike muffler.

^muffler = under car

can = makes the bike.....

physical size and material only make up a fraction of the costs. labor, quality of craftsmanship, engineering, and tuning are all included. the exhaust isn't just oval piece of metal with a baffle and fiberglass.....

ya i guess if you want to justify paying that much for "research and development" on a slip on exhaust, which is just a piece of metal with a baffle and fiberglass. Mabe you just want to believe its more than that.

Dont try to compare a 150.00 magnaflow stainless muffler to a nice slip-on, The welds on car mufflers would stand out like a sore thumb on a nice bike can.
