Default CBR600RR exhaust on an F2?

Performance restrictions aside, how hard do you think this would be. I have found a factory exhaust with heatshield that I can get for about $20 and was just wondering how much fabrication would be required for this

You're gonna have to custom build the entire mid-pipe to go around the swing arm and then up. You'll also no likely have room under the tail to fit the pipe.

I've heard it can be fitted if you replace the rear shock with that of an F4i to increase the height of the tail, also my under tail is almost completely hacked up anyway so cutting it up more to fit the pipe is not a problem.

Anything is possible, if it is just 20bucks then pick it up take it home and mock it up to your bike. Take all the plastics (tail /sides) and tank off so you can really see what you are dealing with. Take off your pipe so it is not in the way at all and start figuring things out. I put a 99' R6 tail fairing with seats/ 95 F3 shock / 99 F4 exhaust on my old 87 CBR600F1 Hurricane. I found that you really can do anything you want it is just a matter of figuring out how to make it work without changing the bikes dynamics too much. With an undertail exhaust you will have to make sure you have enough heat deflection so you do not melt anything. If you heat the mid pipe up enough you may be able to shape it a little to get it to fit right. I was going to try that will the old cane but just sold it instead. Good luck man, you can do it if you really want to if you put your head into it.
cheers

After doing some hard looking and formulating a possible plan I've decided that this is WAY to much work for the pay-off. Money is better spent elsewhere. Besides I found a great deal on a Micron can for my F2.
