One more question:

If i spray(can) flat black, and then go over it with spraycan Clear Coat(no Matte), will it turn out glossy?

Thanks!

It wont be like a regular gloss black........its more going to look odd and out of place really.

I wouldnt do it. if you shot flat black, leave it flat black.

I just hate rattle can paint jobs..........such a pain in the ass to get off when you really paint it.

It'll be 'semi-gloss', not super-smooth like regular clearcoat. It IS possible to get something extremely smooth with enamels (the paint that comes in a spray can) but doing it while shooting it out of a spray can isn't really the easiest/best way to do it, and by the time you buy the good enamels that ARE easier to polish.. you could have paid for urethane instead.

Post pics any way you go.

Thanks for all the responses. I think i am going to hold off till i get it sprayed nicely. I am painting the front fender gloss black tonight. That should tide me by until spring. I appreciate the info.
