CSBA schedule for the year
Hello all,
Get your daytimers out and write in the rides.
April 4th Leap into Lancaster- we jet down to New Cumberland to meet up with Stamford as he takes us on a twisty tour of Southern Pa.
May 2nd White Castle/Blue Mountain Run- I take us over the mountain, through the woods and Natty Drez takes us to White Castle. Don't miss this double shot wonder.
June 6th The Pocono Screamer- some folk missed this last year, don't let yourself be one of them. Good roads, three states and a stop at the Hawk's Nest, what's not to like?
July 4th Berks county run- some local roads with some new discoveries thrown in, and you get home in time to see fireworks.
August 1st The Shamokin Screamer- voted one of the most favorite rides last year, come on out and see for yourself.
September 5th The Montgomery/Bucks county run- Can you make it around Bob corner? Show up and ride it, if you dare.
October 3rd- The Carbon County Screamer- A loop through Carbon, Mifflin, Lehigh, and Northampton counties. This one's new, so don't miss it.
November 7th The Dive into Delaware- we head toward Pohlcat's country and romp our way back.
December 5th Jump into Jersey- a hop into Jersey to finish out the year.
Well folks that's it. Thanks to all who helped plan out these rides and are helping with leading them. It looks to be an awesome year, I hope you can all make it. By the way, everyone who reads this is welcome to come and you may bring friends. Every rides starts at the Starlite Diner on Rt. 100 near I-78outside of Allentown. We eat breakfast at 8 and ride at 9. See you all soon,

I will be on vacation june 6th. Would you feel like running the screamer an additianal time this season?? Doesnt have to be a offical CSBA ride or anything... (dont want you to rewrite the schedule or anything)
It could just be some random weekend. Just an excuse to get together and ride sometime.

For September, are we going to that ice cream place again? That was some GOOD ice cream!

Doubt it, but it is not impossible, you just have to convince my wife. It's hard to say Pohlcat, summers can be busy. I won't say no, but I can't say yes either. First Saturday of the month is the CSBA ride, it's easy to schedule around. If RT can do it, so can you. Have a great day,

I know that RC would be hurt if we didn't, so yes we will stop there.

Thanks Mark. I work a 5 days/off 3, 5 middles/off 2 rotation. I took vacation for the first Saturday of every month I wasn't off already. Of the 9 in question, I was off 3, so it cost me 6 vacation days, but it's worth it to meet up and ride with some good people.

October 3rd The Burger Run- a ride up to the famed Denny's Beer Barrel Pub in Clearfield Pa, home of the Guiness book of world records largest burger. A 71 year old man last year made the trip and said it was his best burger ever. Definitely a long trip, 400 miles+

I'll be on vacation at Deal's Gap during the Leap into Lancaster, but I'm gonna try and make a few of the other rides this year.
