Default Motorcycle Safety Classes in Oregon

TEAM OREGON are the ones to see and the place to be for classes in motorcycle safety and operation for the new, intermediate and advanced riders. These are very similar to MSF courses taught in other states (so much so, that MSF was talking about suing TEAM OREGON for infringement of some sort). No, I am not, nor is SBN reimbursed for our individual sponsorships of MSF courses, but anyone who has taken one knows the value of the skills you learn in these classes.

I will link to the site below. They have schedules available there for different areas of the state (yes, they travel to your general area), and the fees and schedule vary by location. The certification from TEAM OREGON will serve to bypass any testing required at the DMV (though, you will still have to pay the issuance fee at the DMV) when you go to apply for your MANDATORY motorcycle endorsement on your license. You can go directly to your local DMV and take the written and riding test there, pay a $74 dollar fee (for an 8 year endorsement) and get your endorsement, but '90% of accidents caused by motorcyclists are caused by those who are self taught or taught by friends or family'.

It is a smart move to go through TEAM OREGON for your motorcycle learning. Not only will you come out more prepared, but you will learn things that will more than pay for themselves over the lifetime of your interest in this hobby. WELL worth the price of admission.
