That was fucked up.
The guy didn't engage the "police officer" in anyway. Why the fuck does that sack of shit think he has the right to attack a civilian?
Its pathetic that most of society has come to accept such behavior. Ripping down a road in a big heavy cruiser and crossing a double yellow line. Then not being able to handle the situation, resulting in beating a passive individual. For what? Tinted windows lol...
Cops should be held to a higher standard. They supposedly have the training. So why do we see a new story or video everyday of others doing the same thing? Why should we be afraid of them? Because we allow it to happen. Americans said goodbye to freedom and security a long time ago. Does anyone honeslty think a cop is looking out for you???
The only thing cops are good for is handling domestic disturbances. Otherwise they are pretty much useless. I actually find it funny how a bunch of retards somehow got guns and tazers.
In my opinion that savory slice of bacon deserves to not only be fired but thrown in jail.

Good thing the guy didn't actually fight. I wonder how many cops think they are badass fighters after shit like this where they attack someone and the person just tries to dodge there blows(which is illegal I guess), and the person never really fights back. Its so funny. Things like this would stop happening completely if every time one of these dickholes tried the shit they were met with a real fight response, not just a defensive one.
He was driving along in the passing lane. damned left-lane bandits! Deserved what he got.
Seriously though, when you are in authority and you tell someone to do something and they don't, that's a clue that they are defying your authority. He told him to step out of the car several times, and instead of stepping out of the car the guy just argued. If you allow someone to go on defying your authority it only gets worse. He told him quite clearly he had to step out of the car or he was going to get pulled out of the car. He maybe was a little quick in pulling him out; a guess his adrenaline was distorting his timing. Maybe he should have timed himself a little better and said something like "If you don't step out of the car in three seconds...", but pulling him out was the only way that guy was going to get out of the vehicle. I hope he gets backing from his superiors. Otherwise the dumb-ass in the car is going to learn he can just go on ignoring cops instructions.
I feel sorry for the guy though. It sounds like he didn't have his insurance slip, despite having tried to get one, he had sufficient proof of insurance to get a tag. Of course he could just have dropped the insurance after getting the tag, and be playing dumb.

The only assault I saw was the cop assaulting the driver, maybe in slow motion there is evidence of an first assault by the driver, but I didn't notice it.
"He started it."
"No, he started it."
Can anyone point out where the assault started?
The driver will get off and get a large chunk of taxpayer money.
The cop will get a paid vacation and a letter in his personnel file.
I saw this on the news a few days back. The news take was the guy was an idiot for not following the cops orders, but the cop first assaulted the guy from what was seen on the video. News also said the cop was an idiot too.
Like others here, this is all over tint. The cop needs to get a grip on life. Wow he caught a really bad guy with Tint...jesus grow up Mr FatAss cop, that guy if he wanted would of gave the cop an ass whooping.
I'm going to assume the guys window did not work, why else would your door be opened! Never open your door, this saves you from some cop yanking you out.
Also as Jethead said, the cop was in the guys way. The cop claimed the guy was in his face. Yeah after you yanked him out, and even if you did not yank him out the cop was the one not providing any room for the guy to get out. Plus funny to hear the cop tell the guy to stop resisting and the guy says his leg is stuck on the other side of the steering wheel. Which was probably true.
Int he end there are enough people willing to be cops, so fire this yahoo, and move on. I'm actually not sure why departments will go to such lengths to fight for these cops. Must be a Union job.

They are off cam toward the end, so we dont know what happend. Maybe that is where the assault took place.

I believe the guy has a right to defend himself at a certain point, so if that is where the cop is going to claim the assault took place he still has to explain why he assaulted the guy right off the bat. I doubt a Jury will side with the cop in this case.
Cop claims, the guy assaulted him right away. Cop story does not match what is shown. One reason the news channel did not side with the cop. The program I saw.
The cop is throwing f*cking boxing combination at the guy. I think that is overkill and not part of the training. He didn't want to get out of the car without a reason which is understandable and he wasn't even fighting back. The cop went on a power trip plain and simple and needs to be disciplined.
