Exodus: so what you're saying is, beyond the problem of the army surplus store, my plan is a good one? sweet, because I thought that up on the spot. Not bad for a 16 year old with little to no experience in zombie killing and defenses planning.
With the current financial crisis nobody really knows whats going to happen, nothing will be the same, but if we take a step back, or several, remains to be seen. We shall see.
In any event its a good Idea to be prepared.

Carbon Fiber ar-15 also scopes for medium to CQB work. 5lbs with mag and scope woo hoo. 4xtramags.

30cal bore snake.
small binocs

100rnds 300win mag.
extra Ar-15 mag, 60rnds.
three small packs of tissue, also doubles as toilet paper.
6 glow sticks.
waterproofmatches.
bag of Lint.
2 candles.
rain pancho.
change of wool socks.
change of undies.
wool gloves
wool hats.
xtra shirt.
soap
disposable razer.
medikit with added Tramapad, scalpal, suture, scissors, forcepts, roll of gauze.

maps of various forest area's of Montana and range cards.

Sucretsbox with fishing line,hooks, asprin, 22cartridge, and lure wieghts.

xtra batteries for surefire light, and flashlight.

one extra bottle of butane.

cotton balls.
Everything is set up so basic emergency necessities are on tactical vest along with small amounts of ammo, all gear is molle so things can be left or added in seconds.

Does anyone else have problems with talking to people about the impending zombie invasion? I mean, I bring it up in casual conversation and people seem confused as to what I am talking about....
I missed a portion of the VP debate because I was arguing with my wife about preparing for the Coming...I told her that if she wants to be zombie chow that's her problem, but I'm saving my son, my dog and myself.

Truth be told I'm not one for letting the world know what I have/have prepared for a SHTF or EOTWAWKI situtation. I am fairly prepared, but still looking for some isolated land for long term hunting/fishing/farming (depending on infection).

In life, you only need two tools - WD-40 and Duct tape.
If it doesn't move but should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Redot works well for night & low light target acquisition in a stressful enviroment.
