Yea, there's a few things that point to it being fake. The one photo of the lone falcon is different from the one that attacked the other bird - the one attacking has a white breast, the other clearly does not. And that's an awful clean and precise skin job it did - every single feather removed and a perfect straight line where it stopped, top and bottom. I don't think animals in nature tend to be that anal. But who knows, stranger things have happened. It's certainly possible bird's necks are really that thin, ever bathe a cat? They're about 65% fur.
nobody implied the two falcons were on in the same...ever watch hyena's, lions, (and even shithawks themselves) eat? there's always the next one in line......I believe thats the case here....another one just watching for an opportunity.
