The Police Line is what gets me fuming the most, it's not like they can't see it. I'm usually nice, probably too nice in some situations, but I lose it on people who suddenly show up in my crime scenes.

I know that there is an interval that the radar guns must be calculated every month or around there and each day the officer has to initial that it was still within the allowable deviance and if one or both of those is not done you can contest it and win.

And by the way radar guns are calibrated when the unit fails a self test, which is done every shift by each officer. Older units use tuning forks-newer ones are computer tuned.

You never know a cops intentions, sometimes they are on a call for a more serious concern where it's not wise to run lights/sirens. Sometimes they just don't notice, they're people like anyone else. I'm not trying to make excuses but it's my $.02.
And sometimes either the cop is out of their jurisdiction (police hate it when guys from other jurisdictions pull people over in their own) or the police car isn't being driven by a police officer.
