There are bunches of old people that live in here. The damn phone would be ringing off the hook for that. I did have a judges wife want me to shoot a cotton mouth that was in the pond in their front yard.

I never shot an animal to kill time when working. I did shoot an injured skunk with the Remington 870 once with 00 buck shot. I have been shot at, but haven't shot anyone. Many, many people have met my SIG "in person" though.
