+1 on the go alone! My niece went last year with a date and had a miserable time.. this year she went with some of her girl friends and had a blast!
Hell.. I think it was my senior year in highschool that me and a bunch of my friends went.... had a WAY better time anyways...

Or, God forbid, you go out riding that night? I got dragged to one when I was in high school with a girl I was dating at the time. Being at the damn thing was bad enough, but being on a leash fucking sucks. Go alone if you want to go, you'll have a better time anyways.
I fucking hated high school. Every damn minute of it. I can count on one hand how many people I've talked to from there since I graduated.

yea mine is tomorrow. I got tricked by this hot girl who i was going to ask who allready had a date into taking one of her friends. I dont know this girl at all. and now that i know the hot girl better she bugs the crap out of me. seriously, shut the hell up. this girl talks more than any girl i have ever met.
Oh, and the afterparty we have planned is going to be lllllaaaaaaaaaaammmmeee. like punch and cookies lame. Im thinking about blowing the afterparty off and going with some of my friends to get drunk and go bowling.
I can't even remember when my homecoming was because it was AGES ago...I guess my point is that if it's important to you now, go and have fun. Later on you probably won't really remember it. Time has a way of doing that to you.

it might be different for you, but at our school homecoming wasn't even a big thing, i was on court senior year and it's the only reason i went, they paid for my tux and everything. prom was bigger, but ultimately it's not a big thing either way. most important is to have fun whether it be with a date or a group. (groups are better)
oh, and you know you CAN ask a guy to homecoming. its not that huge of a deal and if you really want a date it cant hurt to ask
ive said it before, and i'll say it again:
i love when girls approach me. takes all the pressure off me, and i know they are interested.
and i wouldnt stress about some stupid high school dance. in 5 years or less you could care less. mine were pretty bad.
one girl i liked i finally got the nerve to ask out to go with me. she accepted, but then ditched me at the dance for her sorry ass ex-boyfriend. thanks bitch!
