Whenever major leauge baseball went on strike the first time back in the day,I quite watching sports right then and there.

The way I see it,if you only get paid $100.000 a year, your still making way more money than most of the people in the whole world. To top it off, there getting paid to play.

Then there's the freakin comintators,SHUT YOUR PIE WHOLE.I only get to watch small clips of bike races that I get off the net and I want to here that thing scream,so........................SHUT YOUR PIE WHOLE.

I hate watching sports in China. The MotoGP comes on...and tadaaahhhhh. The entire broadcast is in Dubbed over Chinese. I wouldn't mind if they actually went there but it's all dubbed. They speak too fast for me to follow. I miss the little bits and pieces of info in the colour commentary.

When I sees GP in english again, I'se gon' be so pumped. Fo'Sho'!!
I wants ta be an ebonicalistic sports commentatah!

Major league baseball has suffered because of that strike for a while now.

It's just now starting to gain in popularity again. I don't think it will ever be the most popular sport in the country again.

I also agree that sports stars should not gripe about money. They make money to do something that they (I would hope) love to do. I wish I got paid to do things that I love to do. Instead, I get paid for going to a job I hate, and don't get paid for doing things that I enjoy.

I hate the money. It's just asinine. Dude, you throw a little ball around, why on earth do you think you deserve $20,000 a year, much less 13 million?
Sports is a prime example of what's wrong with America. Where the heck are our priorities when we pay some barely literate jock millions of dollars to play with a ball or stick?
I love some sports, but not a one is innocent of paying ridiculous amounts of money to people that really are simply incapable of providing a more valuable service to mankind than playing a game.
Then , since we idolize success and wealth, these morons become national figures. They become what a whole generation of kids that used to want to be astronauts now want to be- overpaid, spoiled steroid injecting idiots that skated through an education so some college could win another trophy.
Take the money out of it. Look these people in the eye and declare that their contribution to the world is non-existant and they do not deserve more money than scientists, teachers, and soldiers.
My suggestion- reduce the pay of every single league (NHL, NFL, MLB) player to a cap of $100,000. Use the hundreds of millions left over to fix our freaking education system, or pay soldiers a decent wage, create jobs for out of work folks........you know something that actually benefits this country.

I hate (used to hate) when Shaq missed free thows. (He's no longer on my team, so I'm happy now)

I hate that Rudy "Drunk ass" T. is the coach of the Lakers now. (I've met Rudy before while working retail & he was drunk then!)

I hate that after I talked so badly about Malone, he made me wish he never got injured.

I hate that GP could never really get anything going in Phil's offense.

I hate that the trade between Shaq & Dirk never happened.

I hate that LA lost to Detroitin the finals. (Again)

I hate that in Houston TX, there a LOT of Lakers "haters" that jump from team to team, only cause they are "tried" of seeing the Lakers

I hate that I would have to order a special package in order to view MotoGP racing on cable.

I hate "screw" music

I hate that there isn't a show on the Power Block specifically for Sport Bikes

I would hate some more, but I think my level of "Haterade" has been depleted for now.

I hate NASCAR. Stomp on the gas, turn left... how freakin hard is that? 2 road courses per year... No racing in the rain... Restrictor plates... No damn resemblance of the car to anything sold on the dealership floor...

I hate basketball. 9 month seasons... Interrupting my normal tv watching. Threatening to go on strike bastards... lock 'em out and ban 'em for life.

I hate baseball. Freaking sons a bitches went on strike. Should have all been fired and banned for life.

I hate World Cup Soccer. The US sucks when it competes. (but we're getting better)

I don't watch those sports. I don't buy their stuff. I vote with what little power I can and that's economic...

I hate stupid people who bitchaobut how much athletes get paid or for that matter any profession that doesn't do that much and gets paid a lot (ANYONE IN HOLLYWOOD IS AN EXAMPLE). If you watch sports, go to sports games, or buy anything with any sports logo on it you are paying their salary. Nobody is going in debt to pay these guys' salaries so the money most come from somewhere. If you can create a job that has no baring on the world and makes you millions YOU WOULD. Suck it up and shut the fuck up and quit hating on people who have it better than you.

ANd your "suggestion" of using the money for things the government is supposed to supply is outragiously dumb. From now on you should send a check for the amount you spend on sports (I am including your tv bill because in a round about way that hlps pay these guys salary) and send it to the government each month. I am sure everyone else will follow suit then the government will have money to do all of that shit. HA HA HA!
