okay, being um... healthy like myself, i would be considered one of the "fat chicks" if i stood next to those gym girls...
so all i can say is: don't be mean...at least we're trying to lose weight!!
I cant be mean... .. I do personal traing at the gym, I cant afford to lose buisness.

hahah well, these guys are too "cool" to put on a jacket and cover up their sleeve. The worst part is when they ride up like that...and look at me funny because i rode to the gym in full gear. then they do a 15 minute workout and hang out around their parked bikes (on the sidewalk right next to the front door) and try to act tough around the slutty gym girls (mentioned above) that never work out...
weirdos...

So it's like bike night, only with work out equipment instead of motorcycles?

5. Guys that check you out (if your a dude like me)....that's just plain fucking gross
this is gonna sound gay but i have looked at other dudes at the gym. i envy them and realize how much time and effort they spent to get their bodies where they are. i use them as my motivation.
Good point, I just feel uncomfortable when a guy looks at me two or three times during the time I'm there. I've been going to the gym semi-regularly for 10 years now and it has happend on a rare occasion.
I'll look at a roider and think...."Must have quite a few deficiencies mentally or physically."
You guys said all the same problems I have at my gym. My gym has an out of control issue with old men walking around the locker room naked for 45 minutes each day. I don't even think they work out.
Also, I don't care if people check me out. I'm only 180-185lbs so I'm not all that big. Also I get dirty looks because I wear wife beaters every workout. No I don't think I'm tough and yes I like flexing in the mirror after I do my sets of standing military presses, bench press, weighted dip/pullups, squats, deads, rows, whatever. At least I don't do curl workouts for 45 minutes 3 times a week so I can have arms cut like diamonds...

no...these guys ride to the gym in a wife beater, stand around, trying to act all tough, and is really there to show off, not work out, as in, they walk around more than they lift weights...
i don't care what you wear to work out...but these guys gave me the feeling that they wear them to show off their tattoos or something...(at least at my gym they do...)

One thing you don't know is that I have a frozen shoulder (right). Up until about Feb, it was extremely painful to move my arm around. I've had the pain managed (acupucture is ) but my range of motion has been severly reduced. It's improving but not back to normal yet.
Check out the last two I listed. Neither one requires your arms to do anything.
The deadlift and variants just require you to pick a weight off the ground.
You end up standing upright with the weight in your hands hanging at arms length.
Your shoulder won't have to move or articulate at all. Your arms hang naturally and just hold onto the bar.
