Read this on a F1 site, relates to MotoGP as well

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is considering alterations to its road course design to accomodate a MotoGP race which would have an effect on the Formula One race.
According to autosport.com, changes would be made to Turn 13 on the road course which would minimize the danger of riders crashing into the Turn 1 wall.
The changes would see officials run the race in an anti-clockwise direction and there has been talk of applying the changes to the F1 event as well.
"Indianapolis plans to run it anti-clockwise for MotoGP, the same as the Indy 500," a source close to the talks tells autosport.com. "They would like F1 to use the same course too, so that all four events (Indy 500, Brickyard 400, U.S. GP and MotoGP) would run the same direction."
Changing the direction of the layout and running anti-clockwise would likely prevent a recurrence of the 2005 Michelin tire fiasco which forced all but six cars to take part in the F1 race.
Indianapolis is not expected to play host to a MotoGP event until 2008, which is when the track changes would take effect.
