A mother of three was sentenced to two years in prison for throwing a cup of ice through the window of a car that cut her off in traffic.

In High school I was arrested for "throwing a deadly missile in a public building", which is a 3rd dregree felony. For throwing an empty 16 oz powerade bottle in the lunch room. Suspennded for ten days , got to go to jax or whatever its called, failed all my classes cuz they were unexcused absences. It was awesome. The fucking pud was looking through the book trying to find something to charge me with. He called my mom and told her I had been arrested , she was like what for and he told her what I did and she laughed at him. Considering I was a minor when this happened Im very supprised she didn't get the electric chair.

Fawk I could have sued and won!!! I was doing a "run: in my Camaro down the street in front of my shop and this asswipe local threw a FULL beer unopened at me as I went smoking by it missed my head by a inch and caught my friend in the shoulder! Fukin lolife asshat.... he didn't like me doing burnouts and shit by the shop. Hell it was zoned industrial..... I used to run my sprint car around the block when we partied down there for fun!! That was a rush!! Those huge slicks got INSANE grip on the street! Nail the gas and it would lift the front just like a dirt bike!!!
I know they were in grid lock but what if that cup would have caused some driver to lose control and cause an accident? Then there is the posability they ruin or stain your interior.

Big whoopie..... a bit of ice and soda.... but you are right some peeps would react like they had a king cobra toseed in there lap....
but then again ever get hit by a unopened can of beer? That has the ability to do you some major hurt. They should take into account the object, the thrower and the persons hit ratio.... say if a pro ball player throws at ya. Jail no excuse. But a chick with the uasual limp wrist fling? That's nothing. Recently, there were 3 people sentenced to 15 years in prison for looting a liquor store after the hurricane in New Orleans. Not a robbery. They didn't use violence. They either walked in or broke into the empty shop, and walked out with $500 worth of beer, wine and liquor. They were charged with some type of new anti-looting law. The minimum sentence was 3 years and the max was 15, and the judge gave them 15 years to "send a message".
Didnt cost anything cuz we dint fight it, when you dont have money to pay a lawyer you dont think about hiring one. I had a bunch of comunnity service and house arrest but since I was a minor they didnt put a bracelet on me so I did pretty much what I wanted to. They were trying to say it could have hit somebodies glasses and shaddered them blinding them,lol. I tested the theory and slapped myself in the face with a powerade bottle hundreds of times. It caused a little redness but nothing else. And you can hit yourself with it alot harder then you can throw it.
