Do you guys think banner ads work??

Hey guys,

I started my company qnor.com and I am thinking about advertising with sbn. Like the banner ad on top. Do you guys actually check those out even if it's not related to bikes? Any suggestions will do. Thanks!

I personally feel like it's a good idea to advertise here. As a member, I know we need advertisers and I do hit up sponsors first when I'm looking for a part.

Even if it's non bike-related, I'd click it once just to see what you're selling.

no....I am one of those people that WILL NOT do business with copmpanies that participate in "in your face" aggressive advertising. I htink that banner ads are borderline. they don't annoy me half as much as pop ups and stuff. I can garantee you that any company that has ever had a pop-up on my computer never got a nother dime from me.

I'll admit to checking out each banner atleast once, but when it comes time to buy things, price is bottom line.

Might want to check in with Fred or other admins/webmasters at other sites and check their hit logs and do a little analysis of your own.
