Thumbs up Napoleon Dynamite!

So who has seen it? I saw at the other night and started off squinting at the tv for the first 15 minutes trying to figure out what was going on. I lost it when his uncle threw that pork chop and after that was rolling. That movie was awsome. Going to buy it for sure. I still can't really figure out what it was about though.

I don't think there is actually any sort of plot. He's a goober and it's just a little part of his life where he sort of rises up out of it a tick at the end. Or maybe that is the plot.

Damn you people!!! I was asking a guy at work about this movie the other day. He told me that the movie is awful and that I shouldn't waste my time watching it. Now I see you guys saying that it's funny as hell so now I'm going to have to watch it.

Don: Hey, Napoleon. What did you do last summer again?
Napoleon Dynamite: I told you! I spent it with my uncle in Alaska hunting wolverines!
Don: Did you shoot any?
Napoleon Dynamite: Yes, like 50 of 'em! They kept trying to attack my cousins, what the heck would you do in a situation like that?
Don: What kind of gun did you use?
Napoleon Dynamite: A freakin' 12-gauge, what do you think?

I saw a part in the movie where they made a mistake. On the part where he is talking to his brother on the phone he put cheese on the chips. Well on the last shot of his brother the cheese is like 10 times more than before.

What's with all the food in that movie anyway?

Hey Tina, come get some ham!

The first time I saw it, I absolutly hated it. Then I was "forced" to watch it again and couldn't stop laughing. I ended up buying it and I've watched it at least 5 times in the last week and everytime I find something more to laugh about.

The best scene has to be when Lyle shoots the cow...

It was boring and had no plot. But it made for some good quotes to use when fucking around with your friends.

The scary thing is a kid I know acts exactly like Napoleon!! I swear they secretly video taped this 25 yaer old guy that LOVES D & D and the japanese cartoons and thinks he can do martial arts. The scene where the guy shoves him against the locker is exactly what I see this kid doing.

I cried laughing when I watched it !
