Theres alot of assholes in this world that take life for granted and don't realize the value of every dying minute we occupy in this world. If the evidence is proven beyond a reasonable doubt, DP is supported.
Theres an exception to the rule though. The ones involved in child molestations and anything else that violates a child should be tortured daily, this includes all the sick priest.

I voted against.. I just don't see death as punishment enough, is all... I'd rather have them live the rest of their life in total misery, in a society of other animals, no hope of it ever getting better.. and plenty of time to think over what they did. Like in a confined area in the north pole where they have to tear each other out over the few resources dropped off every now and then. A painless death? Easy escape. They can always opt to kill themselves though..

As long as I'm 100% sure they are guilty I am all for it in fact I'm for a very painfull death I think if somebody shoots somebody and they die fast then the killer should be shot in a place where they will die a little slower then the person they shot.

Now if person A killed Person B in a very sadistic manner then Person A should be slowly killed in the MOST painfull way we can come up with..

This would drasticly decress murders....

I voted no...I could never be one of the ones that "turns on the gas" or "flips the switch"...That would make me a killer, too...

I am, however, for more harsh punishment...

Take your hard core criminals (killers, rapists, etc), and find an island in the middle of the ocean...Drop them from an airplane and let them swim to it...Do weekly drops of food/water and let them fight for it...

Can you imagine?...No one would be able to sleep because you know you're surrounded by killers...Now that's punishment...

That's considered "cruel and unusual punishment"

Also, I don't know if you're on my side or not...Given your original answer, my thoughts are clouded on whether you agree with me or not...

Plus it cost the American tax payer 40 or 60K a year to house an inmate. Money that could be better spent somewhere else.

Who is for it and who is against it?
