I had mine pulled last year. It was AWESOME!!! Specially when they put me out. They put a iv in my arm, and then put the sleep stuff in and were like alright your gonna start to get tired, and as soon as she said that it was like boom a rush of tiredness. I didnt even have time to say like whoa and then I was out! Plus I also lost 10 lbs during recovery!

I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out two years ago in Jamaica in the middle of a hurricane! I was supposed to go to their office at 2:00, but they called my office at 10 and asked if I was coming. I said, "Yes" and they said, "Come now because otherwise we're going home." So I told my boss and I went.

I drive over there with the streets running like rivers and the first thing the dentist says is: "I knew you had to be an American, Jamaicans are smart enough to stay indoors during a hurricane." Then she knocked me out and did the operation without any problems.

After I went home, I had all the prescriptions filled, but other than the antibiotics I never took any pain meds. I was pretty worried about the whole thing before, but going through it was no big deal. I have to say my teeth hurt way worse before I went then after they were out.

They're kind of like vestigal apenages in whales... proof of evolution... some people don't even get tooth buds any more, most people do though. As people have become more advanced we've developed technologies and competencies that cause us to use our brains more and our mouths less (at least for things like tearing and chewing). The human cranium is shifting to crate more room for the brain at the cost of room in the mouth. Evolution is a slow process, but in thousands of years the wisdom teeth will be completely gone. 'til then we can expect teething pain in adult life and fun with oral surgery!!

took out all four of them bitches at once. none were impacted, so i was put under local. i still remember the size of those damn needles going into my gums, holy shit. after it was done and i got up to go to the front counter, my mouth was so numb i couldn't feel the fucking blood pouring out of my mouth. i only noticed by hearing 'drip drip' onto the floor and happened to look down to see this trail of blood from the room to the counter lol. then i had to mumble in jibberish to the nurse, "nurf, i'm bweething all ofa the pwace." man that sucked
