I am sick and tired of hurricanes. My mother in law is living with us since hurricane Charley.
She used to live in Punta Gorda, and her house was damaged.
My house is still partially boarded up from the last one that was headed this way.
I love Florida, but this has been a tough year (especially with the mother in law part)  |

It's been a very busy season, and it's not over yet. There are, what , three more in the Atlantic.
Update: Damn......winds are now up 60 mph.

We can only hope that he makes landfall and goes far inland and away from water... this sucker could be pushed back out into the gulf by a ridge of high pressure coming down, strengthen and then come in as a hurricane...  |

i never really kept track of the storm after it was a hurricane, what exactly happened? did it make landfall and come back over the gulf?

A piece had broken off before the main part of Ivan headed north through the U.S. That part regained strength, apparently.

Looking at this, I'm glad I moved out of San Antonio. I feel sorry for my mom and brother, though. Hopefully they won't have to endure a flash flood. I hope all you texans don't feel too much WRATH.
