Default Starting to work on getting the house built!!!

First off I must say that real estate agent peeps are cockgobblingthundercunts. Now on to the good stuff. We submitted our plans to the builder today, and put down $4900 to show our committment to buying the house once completed(oh and signed a contract saying how much we would spend and whatnot). Its about 2700-2800 sq ft with a 2 car garage, hard woods through out down stairs, and tile in master/ guest baths. Bunch of other upgrades and BS I care not to go through again. It was about 4-5 hours worth of negotiating so I really don't wanna relive that. So the final price is right at about $246k, they ask for 2% which is $4900. The lady said she would call the building manager and see if they will accept our offer. Lady calls back and says if we give them 5k MORE by July 1st they will accept it. I said you can lick my hairy left nut sack, cause we are already paying full price for the house and upgrades. I will be damned if I am giving you one more penny. FUCKING blood sucking ass gobbling turkey dicks. Soooo she said she would call the person and see what they can work out. I guess she could tell I was royally pissed. Since 100% of my friends whom have built houses have put down less than 1k yet alone almost 5k. Oh and I used to do mortgages for a living bitch you should know that I know how this shit works. Sooo going into it I knew it would be like getting fucked in the ass with a fiberglass condom.

Congrats on the house and why get pissed, just laugh because it's just business.

I bet they take the offer as it stands, someone just wanted more up front.

As stated above, congrats. If this is your first house, you shouldn't have to put a penny down. However, you still should put something down. It is all just business and unfortunately, negotiating is part of the process. It'll work out for the best. It always does weather you choose this house or a different one. I'm on my 4th house and I can tell you each time is a pain.

ehh the only reason I got pissed is because I feel she is trying to take advantage of me because she thinks I don't know any better. And that I am to young to know how it works.

Don't take it personally, just laugh it off because there will be so many hiccups along the way.

If you expect trouble it will only be worse on you.

Take it as it comes and know that you will get more done in your favor if you try to go easy.

Building a home can be a real bitch but in the end you have your home.

As I said, congrats

Yup thanks. I have been cool for all of it. I think she could just sense my annoyance. I am pretty laid back and it takes alot to make me mad.
